Northwood Intouch Basic Unit
The Northwood Intouch Base Unit is the heart of our Personal Response System. This unit connects to a regular telephone jack and enables the call from your personal pendant or sensor to go through the phone line to our Emergency Response Centre. The unit has a two-way speaker to allow for hands free communication between the subscriber and operator and also acts as a speaker phone for your regular phone calls.

Personal Pendants
These small personal pendants can be worn around the neck, clipped to clothing, or around the wrist. They are water-resistant so they can be worn in the shower.

Cookstop
According to the National Fire Protection Association, cooking fires are the #1 cause of home fire injuries. Unattended cooking equipment is the leading contributing factor to kitchen fires, with the elderly and the handicapped being especially vulnerable. Our solution is CookStop. It attaches to an electric stove and includes a built-in motion detector that monitors the user’s movements. If the user doesn’t return within a specific time frame, the stove shuts off automatically, preventing fires before they begin. CookStop is a proactive approach to preventing kitchen fires, instead of sounding an alarm after one has already started. CookStop can be easily programmed to meet the needs of each user, and can be used as a standalone product, or with the Caresse+ base unit.
